ASA-GF Filament - Red

Decent ASA-GF in red is a glass-fiber reinforced ASA filament for functional parts that need better stiffness, heat tolerance and outdoor durability than everyday PLA or PETG.

Why choose ASA-GF?

• ASA base material: picked for UV and weather resistance on outdoor brackets, panels, enclosures and printer parts.
• Glass-fiber reinforcement: adds stiffness and dimensional stability, with a matte textured finish that hides layer lines.
• Red color: useful for visible functional parts, accents and color-coded printed hardware.

Printing notes

• Use an enclosure. ASA is draft-sensitive and should be printed in a ventilated enclosed printer.
• Use a hardened nozzle. GF filament is abrasive and will wear brass nozzles; pair it with a hardened steel nozzle, DLC, ruby or tungsten-carbide nozzle.
• Dry if needed. If you see popping, steam or excess stringing, dry the spool before tuning.

What it is not

• Not a beginner PLA replacement; tune it like an engineering filament.
