Cut-to-length ERCF shaft and rod set for a 4-, 6-, 9-, or 12-channel Enraged Rabbit Carrot Feeder build. Each variant supplies the full rod set called out by Ette's ERCF v1.1 BOM: 2 M5 threaded rods, 2 8 mm smooth rods, and 1 5 mm D-cut shaft cut for the selected cart/channel count.
Why this over generic rod stock
- BOM-derived lengths — no measuring, cutting, end cleanup, or hoping a hardware-store offcut is close enough.
- Correct rod mix — M5 threaded rods for the feeder structure, 8 mm smooth linear rods for the LM8UU-supported selector motion, and a 5 mm D-cut drive shaft for positive grub-screw engagement.
- One complete feeder set — the selected variant covers the whole ERCF feeder for that cart/channel count, not one individual cart.
What's included
- 2× M5 threaded rods
- 2× 8 mm smooth linear rods
- 1× 5 mm D-cut drive shaft

Intended use / fitment
Use this as the rod-and-shaft hardware set for original Enraged Rabbit Carrot Feeder / ERCF v1.1 builds, repairs, and rebuilds. It pairs with Enraged Rabbit Carrot Patch printed-part sets and the usual ERCF electronics such as the Binky ERCF Encoder and ERCF Toolhead Sensor Kit.
How to pick the right size
Match the variant to your ERCF cart/channel count. If you are sourcing a non-standard build, choose the next larger standard set only if you are comfortable cutting rods down yourself; these are shipped as fixed finished lengths.
Gotchas / what this is NOT
- Not one set per cart. Each variant is one full feeder rod set for the listed cart/channel count.
- Not a full ERCF kit. Printed parts, bearings, pulleys, belts, motors, electronics, fasteners, frame parts, and Bowden/PTFE path parts are separate.
- Not automatically a V2.x substitute. The ERCF V2.x Community Edition uses its own BOM/length choices; check that build before buying replacement rods.
- Not for unrelated MMU systems such as Prusa MMU, Bambu AMS/ACE, Tridex, or BoxTurtle-style feeders.
