Originally my printer was giving me issues with consistency of prints, was bummed out because never had any issues with this companies ABS. With a little bit of tuning and a few Joe Pesci level freak outs at my printer i realized my slicer settings were just off. NOW I'm printing masterpieces which i know will live on in the outside world for years to come, UV protected of course. 10/10 for strength(Printed a outdoor cat bed for my big chungus, if it can support him it could probably withstand a hit from a meteor or something. Honestly i don't know I'm not an engineer and i never graduated 3rd grade) As i type this review I'm ordering a pallet of spools out, THANKOU DFH.

Sky-blue ASA-GF filament for stiff, weather-ready functional prints. This Decent spool is ASA-GF: ASA filament with glass-fiber reinforcement. Use it when you want ASA's outdoor-friendly UV/weather resistance with a stiffer, more dimensional engineering finish than plain ASA.
Why choose ASA-GF over plain ASA?
- Stiffer functional parts: glass fiber reinforcement helps printed brackets, mounts, ducts, and printer parts hold shape better than standard ASA.
- Outdoor-capable base resin: ASA is the ABS-family material people reach for when UV exposure and weather matter.
- Bright engineering color: Sky Blue gives you a visible, clean part color without moving to a glossy decorative material.
Specifications
- Material: ASA-GF, glass-fiber reinforced ASA
- Color: Sky Blue
- Brand: Decent
- Format: sealed filament spool
- Published diameter / spool weight / tolerance: not exposed in the current Shopify record or product photo; verify the package label before quoting those numbers in a print profile.
- Nozzle requirement: abrasive filament; use hardened steel, DLC-coated, tungsten carbide, ruby, or another abrasive-ready nozzle.
Best uses
- Voron-style enclosed-printer parts, brackets, mounts, ducts, and cosmetic-functional accents
- Outdoor housings and fixtures where PLA/PETG are the wrong material class
- Parts where stiffness and matte fiber texture matter more than a glossy surface
Print notes
- Print on an ASA-capable setup: enclosed printer, heated bed, appropriate build surface, and ventilation.
- Dry the spool if you hear popping, see steam at the nozzle, or get unexpected stringing.
- Do not run this through a standard brass nozzle unless you are comfortable wearing the nozzle out.
Pairs well with
- Phaetus Hardened Steel V6 Style Nozzles for a basic abrasive-ready setup.
- Phaetus DLC Hardened Steel V6 Style Nozzles for a slicker coated option.
- Decent TiAlSiN-Coated Tungsten Carbide Nozzle if you want the long-life answer for filled filaments.
- Decent Filter Food Obsidian for Nevermore-compatible carbon filtration in enclosed ASA printers.

Verified buyer note: “10/10 for strength… I’m printing masterpieces which I know will live on in the outside world for years to come.”
What it is not
- Not a beginner PLA/PETG replacement.
- Not a brass-nozzle filament.
- Not a cosmetic high-gloss material; the fiber fill is there for stiffness and stability.
