ABS-GF Filament - Red

Decent ABS-GF in red is glass-fiber reinforced ABS filament for stiff, functional printed parts with a matte, layer-hiding finish. Use it when plain ABS is too flexible or moves too much and you want an engineering-filament finish for visible red parts.

Printing notes

• Use an enclosure and ventilation. ABS-based filament is draft-sensitive and gives off ABS odor/VOCs while printing.
• Use a hardened nozzle. The glass fiber fill will wear brass nozzles quickly.
• Dry and tune before production prints. If you see popping, steam, stringing or fuzzy surfaces, dry the spool before dialing in a long job.

What it is not

• Not a beginner PLA replacement; treat it like an engineering ABS material.
• Not for brass nozzles unless you accept accelerated nozzle wear.
