Ultra Lightweight Aluminum Voron V2 and Trident Pins Kit

Black anodized 5 mm aluminum pin kit for Hartk’s Voron V2.4 and Trident pins mod. This 14-piece kit replaces M5 screw shafts at idler, pulley, and bearing locations with smooth lightweight pins: 43 mm x2, 40 mm x4, 30 mm x2, and 28 mm x6.

Why use pins instead of M5 screws?

• Smooth bearing surface: the Hartk/Voron pins mod replaces screw threads where bearings, pulleys, and idlers ride on the shaft.
• Lower moving weight: aluminum pins are the ultra-light option; West3D lists its equivalent aluminum kit at about 63% weight savings versus the standard steel pin set.
• Correct BOM for the mod: matches the published Voron2.4 and Trident Pins Mod hardware list: 30 mm x2, 28 mm x6, 40 mm x4, 43 mm x2.

Fitment

For Voron V2.4 and Voron Trident builds using the Hartk pins mod printed parts. It is a hardware pin kit only; print the pinned A/B drive, front idler, XY joint, and V2 Z idler parts from the mod before installation.

• This is not a full printed-parts kit and does not include bearings, pulleys, screws, or printed parts.
• The 30 mm positions may be built with smooth pins in place of threaded pins if you do not need to remove the pins without removing the stepper, matching the mod author’s note.
