The GE5C is a radial spherical plain bearing with a 5mm bore: a steel inner ball seated in a steel outer race with a PTFE-composite sliding surface, so it self-aligns and runs maintenance-free with no balls or seals. The spherical contact absorbs misalignment and edge loads, which is why it's used in 3D printer joints such as Voron Tap and other pivoting/articulating mounts.
