PTFE filament-feed & bowden tube for 3D printers — 4 mm OD, in your choice of inner bore, colour and length. Low-friction, chemically inert, heat-resistant PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tubing for routing 1.75 mm filament: bowden extruders, reverse-bowden, and ERCF / MMU feed paths.

Pick the bore for the job

  • 2.0 mm ID — tight, constrained guidance for short internal runs (extruder → heatbreak). Holds the filament straight over a short length.
  • 2.5 mm ID — the standard low-friction bowden / reverse-bowden bore, and the recommended bore for ERCF feed tubes and the reverse bowden to the toolhead. Consumed by the metre on MMU/ERCF builds.
  • 3.0 mm ID — loosest, lowest-drag routing for long runs where slip beats constraint.

Black or Opaque White

Functionally identical PTFE — pick by preference. White/natural is the classic look; black blends into dark builds.

Specifications

  • Material: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)
  • Outer diameter: 4 mm — fits standard PC4 push-fit couplers (PC4-M6, PC4-M10, ECAS) and 4 mm bowden fittings
  • Inner diameter: 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 mm (per variant)
  • Colour: Opaque White or Black (per variant)
  • Temperature ceiling: ~260 °C — not a hotend liner above this
  • Pre-cut lengths: 300 mm · 1.5 m · 3 m · 5 m · 10 m
  • For 1.75 mm filament

Choosing a length

  • 300 mm — a short internal run or a spare
  • 1.5 m — one bowden leg / one MMU feed
  • 3 m / 5 m — multiple legs or a long reverse bowden on a tall/large printer
  • 10 m — bulk for a full multi-channel ERCF/MMU build (best price per metre)

Want to see the filament move? Choose our transparent FEP tube instead — same low-friction class, see-through for multi-material / ERCF.
