Collet Clip

Lock 4 mm PTFE/Bowden tubing in the push-fit coupler instead of letting the collet walk during retractions. This orange plastic collet clip snaps under the release collar on common 4 mm OD PTFE push-fit connectors used on 3D-printer extruders, hotends, and ERCF-style filament paths.

Why use a collet clip?

• Helps keep the PTFE tube seated by preventing the push-fit collar from being pressed down accidentally.
• Reduces small back-and-forth tube movement at the connector during extrusion and retraction.
• Cheap insurance for Bowden, hotend, toolhead, and multi-material filament paths where a loose tube causes jams or inconsistent feeding.

Fitment

• For 4 mm OD PTFE/Bowden tube push-fit collets and couplers.
• Works with many embedded Bowden couplings and PC4-style 3D-printer tube fittings where the clip can sit under the plastic release collar.
• Useful on ERCF / Voron filament paths, extruders, and hotends that use 4 mm OD tube.

Gotchas

• This is not a tube connector by itself; it only locks a compatible connector's collet.
• Check the gap under your fitting's release collar before ordering. Some nonstandard couplers use a different clip size.
