High Temperature M3 Threaded Thermistor

M3 threaded 100K high-temperature thermistor for hotend heater blocks. This Trianglelab screw-in sensor uses an ATC Semitec 104NT-4-R025H42G NTC element in an M3/M4-style metal package for V6/Volcano-class 3D printer hotends that need a secured thermistor instead of a loose glass bead.
Why use a threaded thermistor
- Positive retention: the metal threaded body fastens into a compatible heater block so the sensor is less likely to walk out during service or wire movement.
- High-temperature 100K curve: Trianglelab documents the 104GT-2 / 104NT-4-R025H42G thermistor for heater-block use up to 280°C; the ATC Semitec NT-4 glass thermistor family is rated for -50°C to 300°C.
-
Firmware-friendly: use the ATC Semitec 104NT-4-R025H42G / 104GT-2 profile; in Klipper that is
sensor_type: ATC Semitec 104NT-4-R025H42G.

- Common fit: compatible heater blocks that accept an M3 threaded thermistor, including many V6/Volcano-style hotend blocks
Fitment and setup notes
- Pair it with a heater cartridge such as the 24V 40W heater cartridge, slim 24V 40W heater cartridge, or 24V 50W 2m heater cartridge when rebuilding a hotend.
- For higher-temperature builds above this thermistor's documented range, use a PT100/PT1000-style sensor instead; we also carry a PT1000 temperature sensor.
- Do not install this into a block that expects a smooth 3 mm cartridge sensor or a different thread size. Confirm the heater-block sensor bore before ordering.
