BIGTREETECH BTT Pi V1.2 is a Klipper-ready single-board computer for 3D printers, built as a Raspberry Pi-style host with printer-friendly power options. It uses an Allwinner H616 quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, 1GB DDR3L RAM, HDMI, WiFi/Ethernet, USB, 40-pin GPIO, and either USB-C 5V or 12–24V screw-terminal input.

Why use it instead of a Raspberry Pi?

  • Printer-native power: run it from a 12–24V printer PSU through the screw terminals, or power it from 5V USB-C.
  • Klipper-focused setup: BIGTREETECH provides BTT Pi/CB1 OS images for Klipper host use.
  • Pi-style fit: the 85 × 56 mm board size and mounting pattern make it easier to install in existing Raspberry Pi-style printer mounts.
  • Wired or wireless control: onboard Ethernet and WiFi support remote printer access and monitoring.

Specifications

  • CPU: Allwinner H616 quad-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.5GHz
  • GPU: Mali-G31 MP2
  • Memory: 1GB DDR3L SDRAM
  • Size: 85 × 56 mm
  • Power input: USB-C 5V or 12–24V screw terminals
  • I/O: HDMI, USB, Ethernet, 3.5mm audio, and 40-pin GPIO

Intended use

Use the BTT Pi V1.2 as the Klipper host for an i3, CoreXY, Voron-style, or Ender 3-class printer. For CAN bus toolhead builds, pair it with the U2C CAN Interface Board and a live toolhead board such as the EBB36 CAN Toolhead Board.

Gotchas

  • This is the Klipper/Linux host computer, not a stepper-motor controller board.
  • The BTT Pi and CB1 40-pin GPIO layouts are not identical; check BIGTREETECH pinout documentation before wiring GPIO accessories.
  • microSD card, screen, and CAN toolhead hardware are separate unless specifically included in your order.
