Engineering Sheet
Pickup currently unavailable at Home Office
Engineering sheets have a slight texture and provide a durable and resilient surface that withstands repeated use without compromising quality. The material ensures a balance between toughness and wear resistance and is ideal for prolonged printing sessions, especially with engineering grade materials.

Proper Use
Engineering Sheets are best suited for printing with materials such as ABS, ASA, PETG, PA, PC, and TPU. The Sheets feature a special coating that enhances adhesion, particularly when working with high-temperature or flexible filaments.
To achieve optimal results, it's important to adhere to the provided usage instructions.
Apply an Adhesive: Applying an adhesive, like Frank's Goo, is advised to form a release layer between the print and the sheet. This not only boosts adhesion but also facilitates easier removal of prints.
Wait for Prints to Cool: Given that the Engineering Sheet is often used with high-temperature materials, it's wise to allow roughly 10 minutes for cooling before attempting to remove the sheet. Exercise caution if removing the sheet immediately after printing, as it will be hot and could cause burns. Gradually cooling the print helps prevent model warping. After both the model and sheet have cooled, you can gently flex the sheet from the edges to detach the model, preparing it swiftly for subsequent prints.
Employ a Sharp Scraper for Flexible Materials: Like with most PEI sheets, it is not recommended to print directly on the sheet without a release agent when using flexibles (such as franks goo)
Although many prints can be detached without tools, using a sharp scraper is recommended for prints made from TPU or similar flexible materials. This method ensures the model can be gently lifted from the print surface without damage.
Cleaning: IPA is acceptable, for a quick cleaning. For optimal results, Engineering Sheets should be washed with soap and water, between every use.
