The WAGO 221-413 3-conductor COMPACT splicing connector is the reusable lever connector for clean printer wiring junctions: three side-entry ports, a transparent inspection housing, orange operating levers, and WAGO’s verified 0.14–4 mm² / 24–12 AWG conductor range for solid, stranded, and fine-stranded copper.
Why this over a twist connector
- Lever-actuated, no tool required. Strip 11 mm / 0.43 in, lift the lever, insert the conductor, and snap it closed. It is faster to service than a twist cap or one-time crimp when you are debugging a harness.
- Three wires, one potential. Use the 221-413 for PSU output splits, bed/heater junctions, enclosure lighting drops, and tidy Voron/Klipper accessory wiring where two ports are not enough and five would be bulky.
- Transparent body with test access. You can visually confirm insertion depth and probe the connection without taking the junction apart.
- Right-sized 221 family. Need fewer or more ports? The 2-conductor WAGO 221-412 and 5-conductor WAGO 221-415 are the same 221-series lever-nut format in sibling layouts.

Use it for
- Voron, V0, Trident, V2, and other Klipper printer wiring where you need a serviceable three-way junction.
- Low-voltage accessory wiring and properly enclosed mains-side printer wiring installed by someone qualified for the circuit.
- Mixed solid, stranded, or fine-stranded copper wire runs where a reusable clamp is cleaner than a permanent splice.
Gotchas
- Not for aluminum conductors, damaged wire, or loose/open-air mains wiring. Use proper enclosures, strain relief, fusing, and local electrical-code practice.
- This is the 3-conductor 221-413. It is not the 2-port 221-412, the 5-port 221-415, or the larger 6 mm² 221-61x series.
