The abrasives-ready neXt G: PT1000 sensor, 320°C+ rating and an RCC-coated all-metal heatbreak, in the Dragon footprint. The Phaetus / DropEffect neXt G Fiber is the black, high-temperature version of the neXt G ultra-high-flow hotend, built for carbon- and glass-filled filaments.
Why this over the standard neXt G?
-
PT1000 sensor instead of the 104NT — stable readings past 300°C, and the sensor most high-temperature toolhead boards expect.
-
320°C+ rated ceramic heater plate for PET-CF, PA-CF/GF and other engineering filaments.
-
RCC-coated all-metal heatbreak — the manufacturer quotes around 100 kg of continuous printing.
-
Up to 45 mm³/s with the UHF adapter nut installed, on the same rigid kinematic coupling as the neXt G.
-
Dragon footprint — Voron, Creality and other Dragon-style mounts; Prusa MK2/MK3 with the groove-mount adapter.

Nozzles and spares
Gotchas
-
Nozzle thread is XG M4, not V6. V6 nozzles only fit through the included adapter nut, and there is one nut in the box.
-
Firmware for PT1000: set the sensor type before the first heat-up, then PID tune — a 104NT table reads wrong.
- This is the Fiber / PT1000 version; the red neXt G 104NT is the standard-thermistor one.
- Check toolhead clearance for the heater and sensor leads on compact mounts.
