High-temp LDO NEMA 17 stepper for fast 3D printer motion. The LDO-42STH48-2504AH is a 48 mm-body, 1.8° two-phase stepper rated at 2.5A/phase with 55 N·cm holding torque and a 24 mm × 5 mm output shaft.
Why this motor
- Class H 180°C insulation for enclosed-printer and higher-current use where ordinary steppers run out of thermal headroom.
- 48 mm body / 55 N·cm torque gives a useful balance of speed, holding force, and compact NEMA 17 fit.
- 1.8° step angle and 200 steps/rev match common CoreXY and Voron motion setups.
- Ships as the high-temperature AH variant; for the non-high-temp AC sibling, see the LDO-42STH48-2504AC.

Use it for
- High-speed 3D printer motion systems, including Voron-style CoreXY builds and upgrades.
- Applications where a high-temperature NEMA 17 is preferred over a standard insulation-class motor.
- Builds using common 5 mm-bore motion hardware such as a 20T 5 mm-bore pulley and plug-in driver wiring.
Gotchas
- This is the 24 mm shaft AH version, not the long-shaft S55/S80 dual-shear variant.
- High-temp insulation improves thermal tolerance, but motor life still depends on current, cooling, and chamber temperature; tune current to the machine instead of blindly running the full rating.
- Use a real stepper driver and wiring harness; if you need drivers or connector service parts, see the BTT TMC2209 driver and JST-XH kit.
