2mm sponge cord for small seals, gaskets, and printer-filter builds. This is a flexible black round sponge cord supplied as a 1 meter length for places where a printed part, lid, or enclosure mod calls for a narrow compressible seal.
Why use sponge cord instead of flat foam tape?
- Round 2mm profile compresses into grooves and tight printed channels better than wide adhesive foam.
- Cut-to-fit length lets you trim only what the part needs and save the rest for small seals.
- Useful around air-filter projects where reducing bypass and rattles matters more than a hard mechanical joint.
