Citrus Sheets have a moderate texture (akin to the skin of an orange, hence the name) and provide an extremely sticky surface for you to print on. The coating is a specially developed PEI powder which makes this a workhorse of a print sheet while ensuring superior adhesion compared to other sheets on the market.

Proper Use

To achieve optimal results, it's important to adhere to the provided usage instructions.

Wait for Prints to Cool: Given that Citrus Sheets are often used with high-temperature materials, it's wise to allow roughly 10 minutes for cooling before attempting to remove the sheet. Exercise caution if removing the sheet immediately after printing, as it will be hot and could cause burns. Gradually cooling the print helps prevent model warping. After both the model and sheet have cooled, you can gently flex the sheet from the edges to detach the model, preparing it swiftly for subsequent prints.

Employ a Sharp Scraper for Flexible Materials: Like with most PEI sheets, it is not recommended to print directly on the sheet without a release agent when using flexibles (such as franks goo)
Although many prints can be detached without tools, using a sharp scraper is recommended for prints made from TPU or similar flexible materials. This method ensures the model can be gently lifted from the print surface without damage.

Cleaning: IPA is acceptable for a quick cleaning. For optimal results, Citrus Sheets should be washed with soap and water between every use.

Not sure how I feel about the texture yet but I haven't had a print come off until I was ready for it to

My new favorite print sheet!

After using this print sheet for around 15 print jobs, I have to say it's my new favorite. The steel is thicker, the coating is really durable, and it imparts a slight texture onto the prints, not very rough, and not smooth. The next workhorse sheet I buy is gonna be another one of these.

Sticks like a MF

This bed plate sticks parts down like a MF.

Be careful lifting from a hot bed, as magsheet material can stick to the bottom surface and leave little bits on the underside.

Large parts, I have to practically hold the bed down to get it to lift up after it's cooled.

I have been using this with Goo by Frank.Af, and everything sticks extremely well.

It can also stick too well, especially if you're doing thin (1-2 layer) prints, it will be difficult to get them off.

I don't know if I would recommend a metal scraper, as I don't want to scratch the surface.

Having no PEI film or adhesive means that the surface is very accurate when scanned by the Beacon probe.

The resulting finish is a smooth face with a very slight wrinkle, but not as rough as it would be with a powder coated textured PEI plate.

Best printing bed sheet I have used

ABS/ASA sticks to this better than other sheets I have used that have a much deeper texture but also releases nicely once cooled. The finish on the parts is also quite smooth despite the texture. Plus it has pretty logos.
