Genuine Gates Unitta 2GT closed-loop timing belt — 550mm circumference, 9mm wide, RF (fiberglass-reinforced). Unitta is Gates’ own manufacturing arm, so this is the real belt the Voron BOM means by “Gates”: glass-fiber tensile cords for stiffness, a convex tooth profile for backlash-free grip, and consistent pitch over the full loop — what keeps a belt-driven axis dimensionally accurate.
The 9mm width in a pre-welded 550mm closed loop suits heavier-duty and belt-driven-Z builds where a 6mm belt, or an open belt you splice yourself, won’t do:
