Why use a spring-steel PEI sheet?

• Fast part release: print on the PEI surface, let the bed cool, then lift and flex the sheet to release parts cleanly.
• Surface choice matters: textured PEI gives a grippier matte bottom finish; smooth PEI gives a flatter, glossier first layer.
• Spare-sheet workflow: keep an extra plate ready so one print can cool while the next job starts on another sheet.

Gotchas

• This listing is for the removable spring-steel sheet; heater, aluminum bed, and magnetic base are not included unless the selected variant explicitly says it includes a magnet.
• Check your actual bed and magnet size before ordering. A 255 x 255 mm sheet is not the same as the 235, 305, or 355 mm listings.
• PEI is a consumable print surface. Avoid nozzle crashes, gouging with sharp tools, and harsh cleaners that can damage the surface.
• B-stock variants are discounted cosmetic/etching seconds and should be chosen only if the listed defect is acceptable.
