Shim Washers

Metric shim washers for 3D-printer motion alignment. Sold in packs of 100, with M3- and M5-size options for tuning bearing, pulley, and idler stacks without relying on the loose thickness of standard washers.

Why use shims instead of general washers?

• Voron documentation notes that standard M5 washers can vary by ±0.2 mm, and recommends 1 mm shims or 0.5 mm washers when pulley and bearing alignment needs fine adjustment.
• Thin shims can be stacked to dial in spacing in small increments instead of forcing a belt path or bearing stack to accept whatever washer you have on hand.
• Useful around motion hardware, including F623-RS Bearings and F695-2RS Flanged Ball Bearings, when the assembly needs a small spacing correction.

Fitment notes

• 3 x 6 mm shims fit M3 hardware stacks where the outside diameter must stay compact.
• 5 x 10 mm shims fit M5 hardware stacks; choose 0.5 mm for fine adjustment or 1 mm when replacing a nominal 1 mm washer with tighter spacing control.
• Common fit context includes Voron V0, V1, V2, Trident/Switchwire-style motion assemblies, and other printer builds that need pulley or bearing spacing tuned during assembly.

What this is not

• Not a structural washer kit for general load spreading.
• Not a mixed assortment; select the exact size you need from the variants.
• Check your manual and measure the stack before ordering; shim thickness is selected by the gap you need to correct.
