Micron Extrusion Backers

Set of three extrusion backer plates for the 120mm Printers for Ants Micron. These backers are based on the Lightweight Labware / whoppingpochard extrusion-backer concept: add a matching metal strip opposite the linear rail to help reduce gantry movement from thermal expansion mismatch between rail and extrusion.

Why this part

• Built for the small Micron Classic / 120mm Micron frame, not the larger 180mm Micron+ layout.
• Useful when you are trying to keep the 1515 gantry behavior more consistent across cold-start and heat-soaked chamber conditions.
• Separate backer-only option if you do not need the bundled nut bars from the Micron 120 Titanium Backers and Nut Bars Set.

Included parts

• 3 × Micron 120 extrusion backer plates.
• Backer hardware is not included; pair with the Backers Screw Set if you need dedicated screws.

Fitment

• For Printers for Ants Micron 120 / Micron Classic builds using the 1515 extrusion frame.
• Pairs naturally with the Micron Motion Kit during a fresh gantry build or rebuild.

Gotchas

• This is not a full frame kit, motion kit, rail kit, screw kit, or nut-bar set.
• Do not buy this for a 180mm Micron+ build unless you have separately verified the backer lengths you need.
• Install backers opposite the relevant rail and check the Micron/backer documentation before final tightening.
