Post-install M3 slide-in nuts for LDO-style European-standard 1515 extrusion. This 20-piece LDO pack lets you add M3 mounting points after a compact printer frame is already assembled, without tearing the frame back apart.

Why use these instead of preload nuts?

  • Designed to slide/roll into 1515 aluminum extrusion after assembly, so a missed nut does not turn into a rebuild.
  • Threaded for M3 fasteners and sold as a 20-piece pack for Voron V0 / V0.1 / V0.2 and other 1515-frame printer work.
  • Best fit is LDO / Misumi-style European 1515 profile; West3D and KB-3D both list this LDO part specifically for LDO 1515 extrusions.

Specifications

  • Thread: M3
  • Profile: European-standard / LDO-style 1515 aluminum extrusion
  • Install style: post-assembly slide-in / roll-in T-slot nut
  • Quantity: 20 nuts
  • Brand: LDO

Fitment notes

  • Use these when adding panels, lighting, Nevermore mounts, toolhead accessories, or other M3-mounted parts to an already-built 1515 frame.
  • For printed nut retainers that keep regular M3 nuts from sliding inside LDO-style 1515 extrusion, see No-Drop Nuts for European Standard 1515 Extrusion.
  • If you are working with MakerBeamXL/OpenBeam-style 1515 extrusion instead, use the MakerBeam XL T-Nut instead of assuming cross-fit.

Gotchas

  • Not universal 1515 hardware. West3D states these only work in LDO frames, and dfh customer reviews report non-fit on MakerBeamXL, generic AliExpress, and some Siboor extrusions.
  • These are loose metal nuts, not printed retainers; if you want nut-positioning support, pair them with a compatible no-drop holder.

Got these to work with my formbot V0 frame Put these in bevel side down Manipulate the nut with a scribe or pick to get it as close to 45° as possible Then press the high side with an allen key or flathead screw driver and it should pop in with some force.

These worked perfectly on my Formbot v0 kit, I had missed a couple of pre-load nuts during my build and instead of having to halfway tear it apart, I bought these. Made it easy and I got to be lazy, WIN WIN! Also was a breeze adding these in for mount points to include Daylight on a Matchstick.

didn’t fit my siboor extrusions, but still will use for a future build

You're in luck if you built an LDO kit. Forgot to preload a nut during assembly? Want to add a NeverMore or some cool lighting mounted to the extrusions? Now you don't have to disassemble your frame at all. Does not work with makerbeamXL or generic AliExpress frame kits. I tested it out so you don't have to. MIGHT work with Misumi extrusion, but the slot is wider so they could be a little loose.
