2-Piece Z Tensioners for Voron v2 by MasturMynd

Hardware pack for MasturMynd’s 2-Piece Z Tensioners: four M3x25 button-head cap screws and four short M3x5x4 heat-set inserts for building the stronger two-piece Z belt tensioner mod for Voron V2/V2.4 printers.

Why this mod exists

• MasturMynd’s design reorients the printed tensioner parts so belt tension loads run perpendicular to the layer lines instead of trying to split them apart.
• The result is a more durable replacement for cracked stock Voron V2 Z tensioners when used with the printed parts from the official project files.
• This pack covers the small hardware called out in the project BOM, so you are not stuck hunting four odd-length M3 screws and matching inserts.

Included hardware

• 4 × M3x25 BHCS for clamping the two-piece tensioner assemblies together.
• 4 × short M3 brass heat-set inserts, M3x5x4, one per tensioner assembly.

Fitment and build notes

• Designed for MasturMynd’s 2-Piece Z Tensioners mod for Voron V2/V2.4 printers.
• The official assembly also uses the printed tensioner parts, a GT2 20T idler, and either the BOM M5x30 BHCS setup or a 5x28mm pin. If you need the idlers, pair it with the 20T Idler Bore 5mm Width 6mm by Runice.

What this is not

• Not a full Z-drive kit and not the printed tensioner parts.
• Does not include GT2 idlers, M5x30 screws, 5x28mm pins, or M3x16 belt-tensioning screws.
• Not intended for Voron V0, Trident, Switchwire, or non-V2 Z tensioner layouts unless you have separately verified compatibility.
